El goticismo de Mickiewicz deriva, pues, de una concepción de la
sociedad como una estructura orgánica. No obstante, el goticismo del autor
polaco no es central, es decir, no afecta a la estructura interna de su obra. En
palabras de Davie “Pan Tadeusz can carry the weight of inventiveness at the
