Uno de los motivo por el que nos encanta nuestro trabajo es
porque nos ofrece la posibilidad de conocer gente interesante
casi a diario. No todos los trabajos te permiten charlar
con artistas, escritores o empresarios de éxito. Desgraciadamente
en este mundo acelerado y repleto de charlas
de ascensor, la buena conversación escasea. A nuestro alrededor
siempre escuchamos los mismos temas: el asunto
político del día, la expulsión de un jugador, la reforma de la
vecina. Y encima de todos y de todo: UNO. El único diriamos.
Siempre sale a colación en cualquier reunión, tertulia radiofónica,
comentario en la cola del súper. Ya saben ustedes
cual es, así que no se lo vamos a recordar. No vamos a hablar
de él, ni mucho menos. Más bien al contrario, cada mes
pretendemos cambiarle el semblante y que se centre en la
lado más distendido, divertido e imaginativo de la vida.
Nos ha encantado charlar con Iris Lezcano, una de las actrices
españolas que despuntan en el panorama actual. Como
no, es valenciana. Nos ha contado sus miedos de los inicios
y los secretos de la serie de éxito de nuestra tierra. No se la
pierdan. Nos hemos reído y sorprendido con Pablo Llorens,
el mago que consigue que la plastelina cobre vida a través
de la cámara. Os dejamos en estas páginas su entrevista,
para que sonrían un poco con sus muñecotes fantásticos.
Estas y otras tantas entrevistas, hacen de este mes un número
repleto de buenas conversaciones.
También queremos que nos sigan en un ritual que debería
ser sagrado varias veces a la semana, el de tapear. Valencia
cuenta con decenas de lugares estupendos donde tomar un
par de tapas, maridadas con su vino favorito (mejor si es de
la tierra) o con una cerveza o refresco bien fresquito. Hemos
superado el invierno, ya es primavera y todos nos hemos
ganado un buen refrigerio.

One of the reasons why we love our work so much is
because it offers us the chance to get to know interesting
people almost every day. Not every job allows you to
chat to artists, writers and successful businesspeople.
Unfortunately, in this fast-paced world where we just swap
a few words in passing in the lift, a good conversation is
rare. We always hear the same things being talked about
around us: the political issue of the day, a player being sent
off, or the renovations the neighbours are carrying out.
And above and beyond everything else, ONE THING. The
only thing, perhaps. It always crops up in every meeting,
on every radio broadcast, in every supermarket queue.
You know what we’re talking about, so we’re not going to
remind you. And we’re not going to talk about it at all. On the
contrary – every month, we try to change ways of thinking
and centre on the most enjoyable, fun and imaginative side
of life.
We thoroughly enjoyed chatting with Iris Lezcano, one of
the most famous actresses in Spain at the moment. And,
of course, she’s from Valencia. She told us all about her
fears about starting a production and the secrets of the
success seen in our area. Don’t miss her. We’ve also had a
good laugh with Pablo Llorens, the magician who manages
to bring plasticine to life in front of the camera. We’ll leave
you to read our interviews with him so you can smile a bit at
his fantastic anecdotes. These and many other interviews
make this month’s edition full of great conversations.
We would also like you to follow us in a ritual that should be
sacred at least a few times a week – that of ‘tapas-hopping’.
Valencia has dozens of stupendous bars where you can
enjoy a couple of tapas, accompanied by your favourite
wine (better still if it’s local) or with a nice cold bear or soft
drink. We’ve survived the winter – now it’s springtime and
we’ve all stocked up the fridge.
