1. Prepárese para mostrar a <strong>la</strong> c<strong>la</strong>se <strong>la</strong> lámina <strong>de</strong> <strong>la</strong> fotografía <strong>de</strong> Ezra Taft Benson,<br />
que se encuentra en <strong>la</strong> sección <strong>de</strong> láminas en colores.<br />
2. Si pue<strong>de</strong> conseguir Liahona <strong>de</strong> julio <strong>de</strong> 1986, lea el discurso <strong>de</strong>l él<strong>de</strong>r David B.<br />

Introducción<br />
Tanto <strong>la</strong>s activida<strong>de</strong>s <strong>de</strong> <strong>la</strong> Iglesia como <strong>la</strong>s reuniones <strong>de</strong> <strong>los</strong> centros <strong>de</strong> enseñanza<br />
y <strong>de</strong> <strong>la</strong> comunidad nos proporcionan excelentes oportunida<strong>de</strong>s <strong>de</strong> servir a<br />
nuestros semejantes.<br />
• A<strong>de</strong>más <strong>de</strong>l servicio que <strong>de</strong>bemos prestar en <strong>la</strong> Iglesia, nuestros lí<strong>de</strong>res religiosos<br />
nos exhortan a participar en activida<strong>de</strong>s locales y nacionales. ¿Por qué recibimos<br />
esas exhortaciones? (Porque en todas <strong>la</strong>s organizaciones <strong>de</strong>l gobierno y <strong>de</strong>l<br />
servicio a <strong>la</strong> comunidad se necesitan personas buenas y bien dispuestas; a<strong>de</strong>más,<br />
al participar, nosotros mismos progresamos y también po<strong>de</strong>mos promover <strong>los</strong><br />
