30 31 PArC nAtUrEL HAUtES fAgnES-EifEL Waimes (robertville) - route de Botrange, 131 Il s’étend sur 12 communes (Raeren, Eupen, Baelen, Jalhay, Stavelot, Malmedy, Waimes, Bütgenbach, Büllingen, Amel, Saint-Vith et Reuland) et il fait partie d’un Parc naturel transfrontalier germano-belge. De multiples paysages sont à découvrir: de l’impressionnant Hertogenwald dans le Nord, en passant par le Plateau des Hautes Fagnes, les lacs ou la vallée de l’Our. Les sentiers pédestres sont bien aménagés et la région se visite aussi à vélo ou en voiture. En hiver, les Hautes Fagnes déploient leurs charmes particuliers en dévoilant aux skieurs les plus beaux sites enneigés du pays. Point culminant de la Belgique (Botrange 694 m). Er erstreckt sich über 12 Gemeinden (Raeren, Eupen, Baelen, Jalhay, Stavelot, Malmedy, Weismes, Bütgenbach, Büllingen, Amel, Sankt-Vith, Reuland) und ist Teil des grenzüberschreitenden deutsch-belgischen Naturparks. Vielfältige Landschaften gibt es zu entdecken: vom beeindruckenden Hertogenwald im Norden über das Plateau des Hohen Venn, die Seen bis zum Ourtal. Die Wanderwege sind gut ausgebaut und die Region lässt sich prima per Fahrrad oder auch per PKW erkunden. Promenades guidées : 3 h ou 6 h à travers landes, tourbières et forêts sur des thèmes variés. Automne 2012 : nouveau musée interactif des hautes Fagnes. Original ! Une balade dans les fagnes en char-à-banc , charrette tirée par un tracteur (circuit de 18 km commenté en 3 langues) ou descente en trottinette tout terrain dans la vallée du Bayehon. En hiver, un réseau de pistes et de sentiers bien entretenu garantit tout le plaisir de la glisse (location de skis et de traîneaux). Tijdens de winter nemen de Hoge Venen een bijzondere charme aan met de mooiste sneeuwlandschappen van het land ter grote voldoening van skiërs.
