Tra i tre giganti dell’avanguardia, Joan Mirò, rappresenta uno dei capisaldi del<br />
Surrealismo. Dal 1924 al 1929 è uno dei principali protagonisti di quella “corrente”<br />
del Surrealismo che predilige l’elaborazione di immagini stilizzate, sospe-<br />

le generazioni successive.<br />
Piet Mondrian è invece tra i massimi protagonisti e pensatori delle ricerche<br />
astratte della prima metà del XX secolo. Se condivide con Kandinsky l’idea di un<br />
<br />
la costruzione di un linguaggio che traduce l’espressione lirica soggettiva nella<br />
griglia di un ordine cosmico, nel tentativo di rendere visibile questa relazione tra<br />
libertà dell’individuo e determinazione dell’universo.<br />

expression onto the grid of a cosmic order, in an attempt to show the relationship between<br />
individual freedom and universal force. In doing so he gives expression to a personalized,<br />

evoking the fundamental natural order.
