CONCLUZII<br />
1. Orbita anoftalmica este rezultatul unor operatii radicale (enucleatie, evisceratie). Infectiile imediate<br />
postoperatorii si în special cele care apar dupa p<strong>ro</strong>tezare constituie complicatiile cele mai frecvente care duc<br />
la intolerabilitatea p<strong>ro</strong>tezei, la extruzia bilei sau implantului si la aspecte estetice nesatisfacatoare.<br />
2. În lotul studiat de 68 de pacienti, contaminarea mic<strong>ro</strong>biana a fost de 100 % cu germeni ubicuitari si<br />
germeni cu virulenta crescuta, dar infectia clinica evidenta a fost exprimata numai într-un p<strong>ro</strong>cent de 49 %.<br />
3. Identificarea corecta a germenilor mic<strong>ro</strong>bieni prezenti la ochii p<strong>ro</strong>tezati, ca si terapia adecvata este<br />
foarte importanta, aceasta reprezentând un mijloc de p<strong>ro</strong>filaxie eficace atunci când ochiul congener sanatos<br />
necesita o interventie chirurgicala.<br />
4. În urma tratamentului adecvat al infectiilor la ochiul p<strong>ro</strong>tezat, tolerabilitatea p<strong>ro</strong>tezei creste si confortul<br />
pacientului este superior.<br />
