ABSTRACT
Souvenirs are objects designed for promoting the history and culture of a
society to future generations and other communities. Usually these items
developed on the basis of a handicraft, with the mission assumed, are in a
crucial position for past - present and future. While the communities which
are aware of this importance spread their culture by souvenirs, those which
do not care will remain incomplete on this issue. Various materials are used
in the production of souvenirs. One of them is ceramic. Ceramic included in
this group since Neolithic age, and became an object reflecting the culture
of each period. Ceramics with the warmth, naturalness and durability are
protecting originality from the ancient times. Also today ceramics are means
of contemporary reflection items of culture for new designs.
