YOZGAT TARĠHĠ CAMĠLERĠNĠN ĠNANÇ TURĠZMĠ AÇISINDAN DEĞERLENDĠRĠLMESĠ

İnsanların devamlı ikamet ettikleri, çalıştıkları ve her zamanki olağan ihtiyaçlarını karşıladıkları
yerlerin dışına, dini inançlarını gerçekleştirmek ve/veya inanç çekim merkezlerini görmek amacıyla
yaptıkları turistik amaçlı geziler İnanç Turizmi olarak tanımlanmaktadır. Ülkemiz de ilk çağlardan beri,
farklı dini inançlara sahip medeniyetlerin sürekli yerleşimine konu olması ve bu medeniyetlerin
inançlarının gerekliliklerine yönelik tasarlayıp- inşa ettikleri mimari eserlerin günümüze kadar korunmuş
olması sebebi ile, pek çok din mensubu tarafından inanç turizmi bağlamında ziyaret edilmektedir. Bu
ziyaretler genellikle İstanbul, Bursa, Konya gibi büyükşehirlerde yoğunlaşmasına rağmen, pek çok il ve
ilçede de inanç turizmi bağlamında yapılan turizm faaliyetlerinde gelişme mevcuttur. Yozgat ili ise, bu
bağlamda henüz turizme açılmamıştır.
Bu bildiri kapsamında, Yozgat ilinin inanç turizmi bağlamında sahip olduğu mimari miras, tarihi
camiler kapsamında değerlendirilmiştir. Camilerin; günümüzdeki yapısal durumu, genel özellikleri,
malzeme özellikleri ve süslemeleri belirlenmiş, korunma durumları ve özgünlüklerine dair tespitlerde
bulunulmuştur. Elde edilen veriler, inanç turizmine yönelik SWOT analizi ile işlenerek, bu turizm
türünün gerçekleşebilirliğine dair güçlü ve zayıf yönler, fırsatlar ve tehditler tespit edilmiştir. Araştırma
Yozgat halkının gözünden camilerin önemine dair sözlü tarih metinleri ve anketler ile desteklenmiştir.

Abstract
Evaluation Of The Historical Mosques Of Yozgat, In Terms Of Faith Tourism
Faith tourism is defined as the sightseeing tour for people, who are permanently residing, working
and out of places where they meet their usual needs, to realize their religious beliefs and / or to see centers
of faith. Since the early ages, our country has been visited by many religious members in the context of
faith tourism, since the architectural works they designed and built for the necessities of their beliefs have
been preserved day by day as they are subject to permanent settlement of civilizations with different
religious beliefs. Although these visits are mostly concentrated in major cities such as Istanbul, Bursa and
Konya, there are developments in tourism activities carried out in the context of faith tourism in many
provinces and cities. But in Yozgat province, tourism hasn’t started yet, in this context.
Within the scope of this paper, the architectural heritage of Yozgat province in the context of faith
tourism has been evaluated within the scope of historical mosques. The structural state, general
characteristics, material, and ornamentations of the historical mosques have been identified, preservation
conditions and uniqueness have been determined. The obtained data were processed by SWOT analysis of
faith tourism to identify the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats of the realization of this
tourism model. The research was supported by oral history texts and questionnaires on the importance of
the mosques in the eyes of the Yozgat community.
