Anmerkung: Note:
Bei explosionsgeschützten Motoren und obengenannten Bauformen
muß das Schutzdach verwendet werden (EN 50014).
For all construction types in which the fan grid of the fan cover
is upwards, the design "with protection cover" is recommended.
This is particularly important with protection type IP65 or
if the drives are installed in the open air (e.g. IP55 W), in which
case it should also be noted that the motors need to be protected
from strong and lasting exposure to sunlight. The protection
cover prevents small particles from falling in, and in the
case of open-air installation, the protection cover serves mainly
as protection against rain.
In the case of explosion-proof motors and the above construction
types, the protection cover must be used (EN 50014).
