An der Technischen Universität München ist in der Fakultät für Bauingenieur-
und Vermessungswesen am Institut für Baustoffe und
Konstruktion zum 01.02.2003 der
Lehrstuhl für Holzbau und Baukonstruktion
(Universitätsprofessur C4)
zu besetzen.
Zu den Aufgaben der Professur gehört die Vertretung beider Fachgebiete
in Forschung und Lehre sowie eine Beteiligung an der kollegialen
Leitung des Materialprüfungsamts für das Bauwesen. Eine
Ausrichtung sowohl auf wissenschaftliche Grundlagen und Methoden
als auch auf baupraktische Anwendung ist erwünscht. Die Mitwirkung
in der Ausbildung für das Lehramt an beruflichen Schulen
ist eine weitere Aufgabe.
Bis zu seinem Ausscheiden im Jahr 2006 vertritt Herr Prof. Dr.-Ing.
H. Kreuzinger den Bereich Holzbau. Die Aufgaben im Bereich Baukonstruktion
(Nachfolge Prof. Dipl.-Ing. E. Schunck) werden unmittelbar
zugeordnet.
Einstellungsvoraussetzungen sind ein abgeschlossenes Studium an
einer wissenschaftlichen Hochschule, pädagogische Eignung, Promotion
und Habilitation oder der Nachweis gleichwertiger wissenschaftlicher
Leistungen, der auch durch Tätigkeiten außerhalb des
Hochschulbereichs erbracht sein kann. Auf berufspraktische Erfahrungen
wird besonderer Wert gelegt.
Die Bewerberin / der Bewerber darf das 52. Lebensjahr im Zeitpunkt
der Ernennung noch nicht vollendet haben.
Schwerbehinderte werden bei gleicher Eignung bevorzugt berücksichtigt.
Die Technische Universität strebt eine Erhöhung des Anteils von

The duties of a junior professor will include independent research, teaching
and continuing education. In some cases the institute he/she is affiliated to will
expect cooperation in laboratory services or patient care. The facilities provided
by the institute should enable the successful applicant to procure external
funding and to acquire qualifications for a permament professional appointment.

The initial salary will be BAT Ib. As soon as the appropriate legislation is in
place in the state of Niedersachsen (expected autumn 2002) the successful
applicant will be appointed as public servant (Beamter/Beamtin) on a temporary
basis and designated junior professor at salary level W1. The contract of
employment is initially limited for three years, with a possible three year
extension period after positive evaluation.
The applicant must have completed an academic university course. He/she
should have an excellent doctor’s degree, outstanding academic achievements
and research ability as well as experience in teaching. The attainment of this
degree must precede commencement of employment by no longer than five
years (medical degree nine years). The MHH is an equal opportunities employer
