FORSCHUNG
Netzsicherheit
Projektleitung: Charles Fermaud (EBP)
Mitarbeiter: Prof. Dr. M.H. Faber, J. Köhler,
M. Schubert (IBK)
Projektpartner: Ernst Basler + Partner AG (EBP)
Auftraggeber: Bundesamt für Strassen
(ASTRA), Bern.
Dieses Forschungsprojekt ist ein Teilprojekt des Forschungspakets
AGB 1 des Bundesamts für Strassen
(ASTRA): „Die Sicherheit des Verkehrssystems
Strasse und dessen Kunstbauten“. Das Rahmenziel
für dieses Forschungspaket ist, Entscheidungsgrundlagen
und Methoden für den zielgerichteten
und zweckmässigen Einsatz begrenzter finanzieller
Mittel zur Erzielung und Erhaltung des erforderlichen
Sicherheitsstandards über das gesamte Verkehrssystem
Strasse bereitzustellen.
Netzsicherheit bestimmen. Kern des Projekts ist die
Entwicklung eines Netzmodells zur
Reliability of the Swiss Road Network
This research project is part of the Swiss Federal
Roads Authority (ASTRA) research program „The
Reliability of the Road Traffic System and its
Structures“. The general objective of this research
program is the development of a decision support
methodology which enables the efficient and sustainable
allocation of new investments into the road
network for the benefit of the Swiss society.
The aim of this research project is to develop a
method for the assessment of direct and indirect
consequences of different adverse events on the
road network. The envisaged method is to be based
on recent scientific developments in the field of risk
based decision making as well as being applicable
and communicable.
In the first part of the project, the relevant components
of the road network are identified and described.
The core of the project is the development of
a network model for
- the description and assessment of risks and the
availability of transport capacity
- the evaluation of the efficiency of safety measures.
The project was initiated in June 2006 and will run
for 18 months.
Traffic congestion is an overload of individual network
components. It is important to assess causes, measures
and consequences in a consistent manner.
