FORSCHUNG
Feuerversicherungen (VKF).
Im Rahmen eines gemeinsamen Forschungsprojekts
der Vereinigung Kantonaler Feuerversicherungen
(VKF) und der ETH Zürich wurden Brandlasterhebungen
als Grundlage für eine auf Industrie- und
Gewerbenutzungen fokussierte Brandrisikobewertungsmethode
durchgeführt.
Für die Beurteilung des Brandrisikos bietet die
SIA Dokumentation 81 einen sehr einfachen vergleichenden
Berechnungsrahmen für Fälle, in denen
so genannte Brandschutz-Standardkonzepte
nicht zur Anwendung kommen. Die Brandgefährdung
einzelner Gebäude wird individuell quantifiziert,
indem die „potentielle Gefahr“ mit den „vorhandenen
Massnahmen zum Brandschutz“ verglichen
wird. Beides wird mittels Bewertungsfaktoren
in einem vereinfachten Verfahren abgeschätzt: „Gefahrenfaktoren“
und „Schutzfaktoren“ werden aufmultipliziert.
Als Einflussgrösse bei den Gefahren
werden zum Beispiel berücksichtigt: Brandlast,
Brennbarkeit, Rauchentwicklung.
Assessment of Fire Characteristics of
Industrial Buildings
In a joint research project of the „Association of
Swiss Cantonal Fire Insurance Companies“ (VKF)
and ETH Zurich a survey on fire load assessments
was performed as a basis for a fire risk assessment
method focused on industrial buildings.
For the assessment of fire risks, the SIA Documentation
81 provides an alternative method for
cases not suited for the application of so-called
„Standard Fire Safety Concepts“. According to SIA
Documentation 81 the fire hazard is assessed individually
for every building, whereby the factors
related to both the hazardous issues and the issues
linked to fire protection are multiplied. Examples of
hazard factors are fire load, flammability and
smoke emission; examples of protection factors are
structural and organizational measures like the provision
of fire compartments, fire detection systems
and sprinklers.
The SIA Documentation 81 specifies hazard and
protection factors that are based on comprehensive
investigations carried out mainly in the 1960’s. It is
expected that the factors given are not representative
of today’s conditions for industrial buildings.
Between August and December 2005, 95 industrial
companies in Switzerland were visited and the
fire characteristics were assessed. Presently, the
data is being reviewed and summarised.
Die Brandbelastung ist einer der Hauptindikatoren für
die Abschätzung von Zeit-Temperaturkurven.
The fire load is one of the main indicators for the estimation
of time-temperature-curves.
