Smooth shaded

Displays the model data shaded with smoothed transitions (smooth shading)
Within the facet part all facets are displayed filled. To fill a facet the normals of the three
vertices are used with the result that the transitions between adjacent facets are displayed
smoother.
Within the slice part only the vertical extrusion of the contours is used to display the slice
thickness. To fill a face of the contour extrusion the normals of the vertices are used with the
result that the transitions between adjacent facets are displayed smoother.
HINT: The shininess and specularity of the smooth shading can be adjusted in the dialog View
options. These settings can be used to simulate the look of certain materials.
