The tree diagram situated on the left side shows the content of the "user defined machines"
database.
INFO: The "user defined machines" database is empty after program set-up. The user can fill it
with new machines and private parameters. Parameter definition is not restricted.
Tab pages:
This dialog box has several tabs. They show all parameters of the current machine sorted by
topics.
The database are subdivided hierarchically into three different levels:
Supplier: The highest level offers information about the particular supplier. Basically, this
level groups the individual machines of a certain supplier.
Machine: Underneath the suppliers' level, all of the suppliers' installations are listed. Machine
settings include all fixed parameters (envelope, laser or spray nozzle e.g.)
Configuration: On the lowest level several different configurations of each installation can be
defined (for different materials, construction methods and cost rates, e.g.).
There are three different options available for editing and administration of the hierarchical
entries to the database:
Add machine
opens the "Select machine" dialog box with the "predefined machines"
database and transmits a copy of the selected machine to the user-defined
database.
