Log file parameters, print parameters and language choices
Using this dialog, you may alter general properties like protocol settings, printer settings and
language settings.
Dialog General options
Logfile parameters:
If the option Empty logfile for new program session is activated, a new logfile is written with
every program start. Otherwise logging output is attached to the end of the existing file, without
deleting it.
If the option Show model info after file reading is activated, an information window will be
displayed after reading a part.
Print parameters:
If the option Always use 300dpi (dot per inch) is active, a model view with a resolution of
300dpi is used for the printout. If the option is deactivated, the resolution set within the printing
system is used. In this case printing can take a long time on high resolution printers with more
than 300 dpi, caused by the large amount of data.
If the option Always use 8bpp (bit per pixel) is active, the number of colors is restricted to 256
for the printout.
Language choices
Here you can select which language should be used. If you change the language you must
restart the program.
Start mode after import
Here you can select which mode VisCAM starts after importing a file in to an empty workspace.
