Generate structure
Menu: Process No icon No short cut
Generates a structure model from the active part.
A solid model will be translated into a model composed of small structure elements.
Dialog Generate structure
Structure
invert: If this option is enabled, the structure model will be
subtracted from the original model.
Stability: A structure element is considered as being stable
if the contact areas at all six sides are sufficiently sized.
Symmetry: If symmetry is given, then the structure
elements can be easily merged to build the structure.
Otherwise a more time consuming unification is necessary.
Symmetry is only necessary at the six contact areas.
Therefore only these areas are checked for symmetry.
Add: New structure elements can be added to the element
list.
Delete: The selected structure element will be deleted from
the list.
Calculate
Starts the calculation.
Close
Cancels the structure generation.
