Installation note and licensing
Please follow the given instructions to install and license your copy of VisCAM
1. First terminate the execution of any other copy of VisCAM .
2. Insert the installation CD you have received from Marcam Engineering or one of our
distributors into your CD-ROM drive and execute the file “setup.exe” from the CD, if the
installation doesn’t start automatically.
3. Follow the instructions given to you during the installation procedure.
4. Start VisCAM after the installation has been finished successfully.
5. You will now be asked to enter a license key to unlock the software.
6. Send the program id shown to you within the license dialog to support@marcam.de. We
will then generate a license key and send it back to you by email immediately.
Alternatively, you can also get in contact with our support team by phone or fax to
receive your license key (see Troubleshooting).
7. Please start VisCAM again after you have received your license key and enter the key in
the respective field “License Key”.
If the installed VisCAM version includes the additional Slice Supporter module, you will
receive a second license key to unlock and use the included F&S Support Generator for
Stereolithography processes. Please enter the second license in the respective field
“External License”.
8. After pressing the OK button your VisCAM license will be unlocked, if the entered
license key was correct.
