Define machine Menu: Process Icon: No short cut Tab page Process (3D-Printing) Contains all process related parameters used for the calculation of machining time and expenses within the scope of the function Calculate build costs. The parameters for raster-based processes described below are shown only when 3-D printing is chosen on tab page Common. Build Printing head width: Defines the width of the streak produced by the printing head when curing material. Printing direction: Determines the traverse direction of the printing head when curing material. Printing speed: Determines the average velocity of the printing head when curing material. Traverse axis speed: Determines the average velocity of the printing head when moving orthogonal to the printing direction. Bi-directional printing: Determines whether the printing head is displaced by one stripe on a return trip and material is cured on its way back (bi-directional), or whether the printing head directly backs up, without offset and curing material on its way back (unidirectional). Full envelope movement: In case of full envelope movement, the printing head entirely traverses the whole envelope width resp. length in X- resp. Y-direction without account to the actual size of the parts. Recoating time: Determines the time consumption for recoating between two layers. Costs Costs per hour: Defines the hourly rate of the machine. Pre-processing: Defines a flat cost rate for preparation of a job. When costs are calculated, this value can either be added to the actual build costs or not. 287
