Settings for handling surface models
Using this function you can alter the properties of the surface module.
Dialog Surface options
Default Tolerances:
Boundaries: The maximum chord fault used for the approximation of the surface boundary
curves.
Surfaces: Maximum chord fault used for the approximation of the surface course within the slice
generation respectively the approximation tolerance used within the triangulation of the surface.
Smoother surface resolution allowed: If surface transitions are heavily bended, they are
dissolved beyond the defined tolerance to achieve smoother transitions.
Ignore VDAFS entities while reading:
String: String that specifies an entity that is not read in when reading VDA files.
Entity name includes string: The entity is not read in, if the specified string is included in the
entity name.
Entity name complies with string: The entity is not read in, if the string equals the entity name.
Handling of doubled surfaces:
Delete doubled surfaces: If equal surfaces are available multiple times, the duplicates are
deleted.
Mark doubled surfaces: If equal surfaces are available multiple times, the duplicates are marked.
Read doubled surfaces: If equal surfaces are available multiple times, the duplicates are read
without a change.
Handling of untrimmed surfaces:
Delete untrimmed surfaces: If surfaces are untrimmed, they are deleted.
