MERCURETTES
An Improved Form of Mercary for Inunction.
Many syphilographers regard inunction as the best method of administering
mercury to syphilitics.
But the mercury ointment commonly used is unsightly. It has an unpleasant
odor. It becomes rancid with age. The dose is inaccurate.
Mercurettes overcome all of these objections.
Mercurettes are small oblong blocks, each block containing 30 grains of
metallic mercury, incorporated in a cacao-butter base, agreeably perfumed.
Mercurettes have been thoroughly tested clinically, reports indicating
that they are superior in every way to mercury ointment— more effective,
more readily and fully absorbed, more cleanly, more convenient. We suggest
that you give them a trial.
