naive way of thinking, there are no pro-<br />
found thoughts only functional ones. the sense<br />
is already DEAD and the meaning is losing its<br />
function. only that stays alive that functions<br />
biologically or socially. art lost its social func-<br />
tion by the advent of machine, remaining on<br />
the level of manual production art according<br />
to marx and contra marx still functions only as<br />
a prop of history. in museums. this and such<br />
function of art is pseudo-social. these are<br />
also the real causes of historical gap<br />
between the society and this quasi-art of<br />
its. the dimensions of this gap have been<br />
definitely determined, the world has<br />
changed, the art remained at the begin-<br />
ning of the nineteenth century. despite of<br />
its efforts in two directions, to impose<br />
itself on society as an avant-garde and to<br />
adapt to the machine civilisation. the time<br />
of gorgonauting has passed. and the<br />
epoch of the naive way of thinking too.<br />
the revolution of consciousness is taking<br />

srematamo se za nau posthumnu izloibu ali<br />
ART IS DEAD i star naifni umetniki nain<br />
miljenja. dubokih misli nema samo<br />
funkcionalnih. smisao is toe DEAD a<br />
znaenje gubi svoju funkciju. u ivotu<br />
ostaje samo ono to bioloki<br />
drutveno funkcionie. umetnost je izgu-<br />
bila drutvenu funkciju pojavom maine.<br />
zaostajui na nivou rune produkcije<br />
umetnost po marxu i contra marxu<br />
funkcionie jo samo kao rekvizit istorije.<br />
u muzeju. ta i takva funkcija umetnosti je<br />
pseudodrutvena. tu su takole stvami<br />
uzroci istorijskog jaza izmeslu drutva i<br />
toboinje njegove umetnosti. dimenzije tog<br />
jaza su definitivno odrelene. svet se izmenio a<br />
umetnost ostala na pocetku devetnaestog<br />
veka. unato naporima u dva smera. da se<br />
nametne drutvu kao avangarda i da se pri-<br />
lagodi mainskoj civil izaciji. vreme<br />
gorgonaenja je proto. i epoha naivnog<br />
naina miljenja. u tku je revolucija svesti.<br />
