Figure 5.23 represents the relative d<strong>is</strong>tribution of pathologies treated <strong>with</strong> Knomenclature<br />

dur<strong>in</strong>g one year amongst the members of the Chr<strong>is</strong>tian Mutuality (CM),<br />

one of the largest mutual <strong>in</strong>surances <strong>in</strong> Belgium. <strong>The</strong> <strong>in</strong>formation of the CM was used<br />

s<strong>in</strong>ce th<strong>is</strong> <strong>in</strong>formation <strong>is</strong> not <strong>available</strong> at the national level.<br />

Group 402 A (prosthes<strong>is</strong> of large and <strong>in</strong>termediate jo<strong>in</strong>ts of the limb) represents 38 %<br />

of the patients. Group 101 A (cerebral lesions <strong>with</strong> neurological deficits) has a patient<br />

proportion of 16 %, followed by group 404 A (orthopaedic functional impairment<br />

concern<strong>in</strong>g the large and <strong>in</strong>termediate jo<strong>in</strong>ts of the limbs) and group 501B (the<br />

postoperative or post <strong>in</strong>tensive rehabilitation after an <strong>in</strong>tervention > K180 or N300, or<br />

after a stay of > 7 days <strong>in</strong> <strong>in</strong>tensive care).<br />

<strong>The</strong> exact numbers of patients concerned <strong>in</strong> the different groups are respectively 8589,<br />

3594, 2954 and 2628.<br />
