Individual rehabilitation programmes require the set-up of a programme that needs to<br />

be communicated and d<strong>is</strong>cussed <strong>with</strong> the patient. At least two <strong>in</strong>terventions of 1 hour<br />

by the rehabilitation team are necessary dur<strong>in</strong>g the implementation phase.<br />

Yearly price of the agreement was set at BEF44 738 (€1109.02). N<strong>in</strong>ety-five % of th<strong>is</strong><br />

amount <strong>is</strong> l<strong>in</strong>ked to the <strong>in</strong>dex (121.92 on October 1st, 1997).<br />

Th<strong>is</strong> price does not <strong>in</strong>clude fees for other rehabilitation agreements sessions or<br />

activities as described <strong>in</strong> the nomenclature of medical activities.<br />

<strong>The</strong> payment of th<strong>is</strong> amount of money depends on:<br />

5.1.8.4 Target groups NMRC<br />

• <strong>The</strong> condition to have at least 50 patients on a yearly bas<strong>is</strong> for whom<br />

an approval was given;<br />

• <strong>The</strong> m<strong>in</strong>imum requirements of the rehabilitation team, specified <strong>in</strong> the<br />

section below;<br />

• A non medical therapeutic <strong>in</strong>tervention of 12 hours and a medical<br />

<strong>in</strong>tervention of 4 hours (outside nomenclature) / patient / year.<br />

<strong>The</strong> most important neuromuscular d<strong>is</strong>orders are:<br />

• Muscular dystrophies<br />

• Congenital myopathies<br />

• Inflammatory myopathies<br />

• Neuromuscular junction d<strong>is</strong>orders<br />

• Myotonic syndromes and periodic paralyses<br />

• Motor neuron d<strong>is</strong>orders<br />

• Inflammatory neuropathies<br />

• Hereditary neuropathies<br />

• Metabolic and mitochondrial d<strong>is</strong>orders<br />

• Degenerative (often hereditary) neurological d<strong>is</strong>orders
