• Between the different respondents, there <strong>is</strong> a large difference <strong>in</strong> use of<br />

mono- (M, K15 and K20) versus multid<strong>is</strong>cipl<strong>in</strong>ary treatment (K30, K60,<br />

convention 9.50, convention 7.71). <strong>The</strong> contribution of the payment<br />

systems differs accord<strong>in</strong>gly.<br />

• For all described patient cases, except for total hip replacement, every<br />

s<strong>in</strong>gle payment modality (M, K, convention 9.50, convention 7.71) seems to<br />

be under consideration at least once dur<strong>in</strong>g the rehabilitation process.<br />

6.3.1.5 Reimbursement for each optional rehabilitation programme per patient case<br />

Because the number of sessions and the used payment systems differ between<br />

rehabilitation organ<strong>is</strong>ations a difference <strong>in</strong> reimbursement per optional rehabilitation<br />

programme per patient case <strong>is</strong> expected. For the calculation of the reimbursement see<br />

“Notifications” (see 6.3.1).<br />

<strong>The</strong> next graph shows possible reimbursements of a rehabilitation programme for the<br />

five patient cases.<br />

On the X-ax<strong>is</strong> the patient cases are classified by underly<strong>in</strong>g pathology as well as the<br />

optional rehabilitation programmes. On the Y-ax<strong>is</strong> the reimbursement (Euro) <strong>is</strong><br />

represented.<br />
