5.1.6.4 Requirements (7.71 conventions)<br />

In th<strong>is</strong> table we l<strong>is</strong>t common requirements for all accredited 7.71 centres, <strong>with</strong> an<br />

explanation of small differences <strong>in</strong> requirements.<br />

Team<br />

Management All centres have a managerial position<br />

Support All centres have a support team (secretary, ma<strong>in</strong>tenance)<br />

Team All centres have a multid<strong>is</strong>cipl<strong>in</strong>ary team led by a Physician <strong>in</strong> Rehabilitation<br />

Medic<strong>in</strong>e. <strong>The</strong> team composition <strong>is</strong> adapted to the target group of the<br />

centres.<br />

<strong>The</strong> team and the accepted personnel cost <strong>is</strong> agreed per centre <strong>with</strong> the<br />

RIZIV/INAMI.<br />

Experts All centres have the possibility to <strong>in</strong>volve external experts <strong>in</strong> the<br />

rehabilitation program.<br />

Availability<br />

Open<strong>in</strong>g hours Centres accept<strong>in</strong>g <strong>in</strong>patients have a 7/7, 24h scheme, others accept only<br />

outpatients (centres 3 & 4).<br />

Capacity Capacity <strong>is</strong> limited for centres 1 to 4. <strong>The</strong> other centres have no formally<br />

limited capacity <strong>in</strong> the convention agreement, but have to submit<br />

production data for follow up.<br />

Infrastructure<br />

Equipment Each centre has the obligation to provide the necessary equipment for all<br />

rehabilitation programs and extra-treatment activities. Given the large<br />

diversity <strong>in</strong> core competences of the different centres, these requirements<br />

depend on the rehabilitation context and are only implicitly stipulated.<br />

Build<strong>in</strong>gs Each centre has to provide the necessary build<strong>in</strong>gs to accommodate<br />

patients.
