5.3.2 Setting the boot sequence<br />

Set the boot sequence of each blade server by using this procedure:<br />

1. From the Management Module Web interface, select Blade Tasks →<br />

Configuration.<br />

2. Scroll down the form to the Boot Sequence section to see the current boot<br />

sequence for all the blade servers.<br />

3. If a blade server does not have the correct boot sequence, you can change<br />

the boot sequence by selecting the blade server name, which displays the<br />

form shown in Figure 5-6.<br />

4. Set the desired boot sequence using the drop-down lists and click the Save<br />

button to set the new boot sequence.<br />

<strong>The</strong> correct boot sequence depends on the method that you plan to use to install<br />

an operating system on the blade server.<br />
