2.6.6.3 Pinion<br />
Using puller 5x46 501 349 (Rollex<br />
501349), core inserts 5x46 001 956 and<br />
5x46 002 161 and basic unit 5x46 503<br />
491, pull both inner bearing races off the<br />
pinion.<br />
2.6.7 Differential (visual check)<br />
Pull the inner bearing race at the cover<br />
end off the differential, using puller 5x46<br />
806 649 (Rollex 806649), core insert<br />
5x46 002 159 and basic unit 5x46 010<br />
011 (Rollex 10001).<br />
Pull off the other inner bearing race with<br />
puller 5x46 300 849 (Rollex 300849),<br />
core insert 5x46 002 161 and basic unit<br />
5x46 010 011 .<br />
(only if a torque wrench with yieldlimit<br />
control is available !!!)<br />
Clamp fixture 5x46 002 167 into a vice,<br />
ramove the 12 crownwheel screws and<br />
take off the crownwheel, if necessary dislodging<br />
it with a plastic drift.<br />
Remove the differential from the fixture,<br />
turn through 180° and push out the pin.<br />
Important:<br />
All parts must be installed again exactly<br />
as they were installed originially. The<br />
bevel gears with shim washers and the<br />
planetary gears with thrust washers must<br />
not be accidentally confused.<br />
