Directions: Evaluate your partner’s <strong>in</strong>formational <strong>in</strong>terview technique by check<strong>in</strong>g<br />

“yes” or “no” for each question.<br />

1. Did the <strong>in</strong>terviewer listen carefully?<br />

2. Did the <strong>in</strong>terviewer ask relevant follow-up questions?<br />

3. Did the <strong>in</strong>terviewer ask questions that could NOT be answered elsewhere?<br />

4. Did the <strong>in</strong>terviewer ask questions about the <strong>in</strong>terviewee’s experiences?<br />

5. Did the <strong>in</strong>terviewer ask for referrals? Did he/she ask permission to use the<br />

<strong>in</strong>terviewee’s name when mak<strong>in</strong>g these contacts? (OPTIONAL)<br />

6. Did the <strong>in</strong>terviewer thank the <strong>in</strong>terviewee for his or her time?<br />
