CONDITIONS REQUIRING PERMITS, AUTHORIZATIONS OR FILINGS:<br />

Refer and review latest ATF Publication 5400.7 of the Federal Explosives Law and<br />

Regulations.<br />

Some local use permits may be required. Always check with the county where blasting will<br />

take place or city when transporting explosive within city limits.<br />

In General:<br />

No employee shall be allowed to smoke, carry matches or any other flame-producing device,<br />

or carry any firearms or loaded cartridges while in or near a vehicle transporting explosives.<br />

Explosives shall not be transferred from one vehicle to another within the confines of any<br />

jurisdiction (e.g., city, county, state) without informing the local fire and police departments.<br />
