CONDITIONS REQUIRING PERMITS, AUTHORIZATIONS OR FILINGS:
Refer and review latest ATF Publication 5400.7 of the Federal Explosives Law and
Regulations.
Some local use permits may be required. Always check with the county where blasting will
take place or city when transporting explosive within city limits.
In General:
No employee shall be allowed to smoke, carry matches or any other flame-producing device,
or carry any firearms or loaded cartridges while in or near a vehicle transporting explosives.

Explosives shall not be transferred from one vehicle to another within the confines of any
jurisdiction (e.g., city, county, state) without informing the local fire and police departments.
