The Department <strong>of</strong> Agroecology And Soil Science includes : a laboratory, a research station, and<br />
polygones in the EDS “Chetrosu” with research facilities. There are 8 doctors <strong>of</strong> sciences and 6 other<br />
members as staff.<br />
The department has elaborated 5 recommendations in : agroecology, evaluations <strong>of</strong> soil degradation<br />
processes in <strong>Moldova</strong>, durable use <strong>of</strong> the soils resources, and re-establishment <strong>of</strong> the degraded soils.<br />
