The National Centre for Health Management is a public institution, organized under the Ministry <strong>of</strong><br />

Health <strong>of</strong> <strong>Moldova</strong>.<br />

Objectives in the field <strong>of</strong> its scientific research :<br />

• Coordinate scientific research in public health, economy and health management;<br />

• The study <strong>of</strong> health indicators and their determinants, and participation in the development <strong>of</strong> health<br />

improvement programmes, including participation to existing national programs;<br />

• The development <strong>of</strong> new methods <strong>of</strong> organizing health services, routing, financing and resource<br />

generation;<br />

• The study <strong>of</strong> economic efficiency, effectiveness and cost-benefits <strong>of</strong> health services.<br />
