BRIEf dESCRIpTIon <strong>of</strong> ThE oRganIzaTIon<br />
APDI Humanitas <strong>Moldova</strong> - the association <strong>of</strong> specialists and parents that have in their care intellectually<br />
disabled individuals - was founded in 1991. It is recognized by the International League <strong>of</strong> Associations<br />
for Mental Disabled Persons.<br />
A member <strong>of</strong> European Integration programs, APDI Humanitas has developed many activities regarding<br />
the promotion at national levels <strong>of</strong> the World Program Principles <strong>of</strong> actions regarding disabled persons<br />
(1982), standard rules regarding the equity <strong>of</strong> disabled people (1993).<br />

• 2003-2004 : Complex services (PPMS) for disabled people that are in care <strong>of</strong> the parents (SOROS-<br />
