BRIEf dESCRIpTIon <strong>of</strong> ThE oRganIzaTIon<br />
The institute is a scientific subdivision within the Faculty <strong>of</strong> Psychology and Social Assistance. It was<br />
founded in 2005 on the basis <strong>of</strong> the University Centre <strong>of</strong> Psychological Advice. The pr<strong>of</strong>ile <strong>of</strong> research<br />
consists in investigations <strong>of</strong> the mechanisms and modalities <strong>of</strong> psychosocial and media impact on mass<br />
consciousness. The accreditation was provided by the National Committee <strong>of</strong> Academic Accreditation<br />
in 2008.<br />
Staff : 19, Dr.h. - 1, PhD - 4. During the last 5 years over 100 publications have been issued, including<br />
about 30 monographs, brochures and books.<br />
