The laboratory consists <strong>of</strong> 17 personnel. The scientific research interests are :<br />
• Synthesis <strong>of</strong> mono and polynuclear coordination compounds <strong>of</strong> transition metals (nd, 4f) with monoand<br />
polidentate ligands (Schiff Bases, carboxylic acids);<br />
• Investigation <strong>of</strong> the polidentate ligands’ molecular and crystalline structure (in collaboration with other<br />
research groups);<br />
• Testing <strong>of</strong> the obtained complexes as catalysts, bioactive substances, single molecule magnets and MOFs.<br />
