The Biotechnology Laboratory was founded in 1992. Staff : 15 researchers.
The main topics are : Investigation of Useful Microorganisms and Elaboration of the Viral and Microbial
Preparations for combating of pest insect and pathogens. Elaboration of Integrated Pest Management.
Ecological Problems in the Agriculture, Biological Plant Protection for Sustainable Agriculture.
Investigation of the Vulnerability of agrosystems to climate change and carried out the basic direction
of mitigation on of negative effects of climate change. Elaboration of the National Strategy and Law of
Organic Agriculture they Implementation in Moldova.
