and advertising do not<br />
dominate the building or<br />
public domain.<br />
3 To integrate signage<br />
with the building design<br />
by responding to<br />
scale, proportions and<br />
architectural detailing.<br />
4 To enhance the visual<br />
quality of the streetscape.<br />
5 To ensure signage and<br />
advertising structures do<br />
not disrupt vehicular or<br />
pedestrian traffic flow.<br />
1 Where located on a building, signage must be integrated with the<br />
architecture and/or structure of the host building. Building façade<br />
detail and projecting features of the building shall remain unobscured<br />
by signage.<br />
2 Signs within areas of heritage significance must be discreet and<br />
complement the building or area.<br />
3 Signage and advertising must be constructed of non-combustible,<br />
graffiti resistant and easily cleaned materials.<br />
