‣ Must posses valid well control certificate (IWCF) / IADC<br />
well cap; and should be conversant with well control<br />
methods to take independent decisions in case of well<br />
emergencies.<br />
‣ Should be conversant about mud chemicals &<br />
maintenance of mud property.<br />
4) ASSISTANT DRILLER / TOP MAN / FLOOR MAN /<br />
ROUSTABOUT: Should have following experience in respective<br />
position:<br />
Assistant Driller : At least 2 Years<br />
Top Man : At least 2 Years<br />
Floor Man : At least 1 Year<br />
Roustabout : At least 1 Year<br />
5) MASTER MECHANIC: Must be a Diploma with two year<br />
experience / ITI, HSSLC or equivalent qualification from<br />
recognized institute with 3 years experience in Rig<br />
maintenance. He should have the knowledge of preventive/<br />
breakdown maintenance procedure of the equipment. He<br />
should be able to detect the breakdown of outfit engines, pump<br />
and other engines at well site and rectify the problems.<br />
6) RIG ELECTRICIAN: Must be an Elect Engg diploma holder (3<br />
years full time course from Govt. recognized institute)/ITI (2<br />
years full time from Govt. recognized institute), Foreign<br />
Nationals shall have equivalent qualification from their country<br />
of origin. Minimum relevant experience: 2 years for diploma<br />
holders, 3 years for ITI certificate holders. In addition, they<br />
shall possess valid Electrical Workman Permit (Part I & II)<br />
issued by Licensing Board, Govt. of Assam.<br />
NOTE: Prior approval from Head (Electrical) should be obtained<br />
for employment of electrician. Complete bio-data should be<br />
forwarded to Head (Electrical) for scrutiny and approval.<br />
7) MUD ATTENDANT: The minimum qualification and experience<br />
of mud supervisor should be as under:<br />
‣ HS/PU/I. Sc in science or equivalent<br />
‣ Should have knowledge in Drilling / Workover wells,<br />
experience of at least 4 years in handling drilling/<br />
workover fluids out of which at least one year as mud<br />
attendant.<br />
‣ Candidates having B. Sc qualification with Chemistry as<br />
one of the subjects, should have min 2 (two) years<br />
experience in handling mud/ workover fluid system out<br />
of which at least one year as mud attendant.<br />
8) HSE OFFICER: Qualification: Should be a graduate in science.<br />
