31.0 EMERGENCY RESPONSE PLAN: The contractor shall maintain Rig Specific<br />

Emergency Response Plan (ERP) for onsite. The contractor shall also<br />

maintain risk register.<br />

32.0 MoEF (Ministry of Environment & Forest) Guidelines:<br />

1. Pre commissioning rig inspection, safety meeting tools box meetings, job<br />

safety analysis and audits shall be carried out to identify hidden/<br />

potential hazards including risk register and ERP (Emergency Response<br />

Plan)<br />

2. The Contractor shall take necessary measures to reduce noise levels at<br />

source at the drill sites by providing mitigation measures such as proper<br />

acoustic enclosure to the DG sets and meet the norms notified by MoEF.<br />

Height of all stacks / vents shall be provided as per CPCB guidelines.<br />

Noise meter should be available with the rig package.<br />

3. To prevent well blowouts, during drilling operations, Blow out Preventor<br />

(BOP) system shall be installed. Blow out preventor measures during<br />

drilling shall be focus on maintaining well bore hydrostatic pressure by<br />

proper pre well planning and drilling fluid logging etc.<br />

4. The emissions of RSPM, SPM, SOX, NOX, and HC & VOC from DG sets<br />

shall conform to the standard prescribed by SPCB. Regular monitoring<br />

of Ambient Air of HC and VOC shall be carried out as per CPBC<br />

guideline. Stack height attached to DG sets shall be in-conformance<br />

with the environment protection acts and rules.<br />

5. The overall noise level in and around the plinth areas shall be kept well<br />

within the standards by providing noise control measures including<br />

acoustic hoods, silencers, enclosures etc. on all sources of noise<br />

generation. The ambient noise levels shall conform to the standards<br />

prescribed under EPA rules, 1989.<br />
