Positioning the Page Correlation Sensors<br />

Four page correlation sensors are on a double rail in the outfeed module<br />

(Figure 80). Use the following steps to adjust the sensor positions across<br />

the web.<br />

Knob<br />

1. Perform the steps in “Setting Up Page Correlation” on page 150.<br />

2. At the outfeed module, rotate knob to move a sensor to its correlation<br />

mark.<br />

• Turn the knob CCW to move the sensor to GS.<br />

• Turn CW to move it OS.<br />

3. Repeat step 2 for each used sensor.<br />

4. If necessary, go to “Adjusting the Cue Sensor” to continue cue sensor<br />

setup.<br />

5. Print the job at a slow speed, and check each sensor for detecting the<br />

page correlation marks.<br />

6. If necessary, repeat step 2 to fine-tune the sensor position.<br />

7. Perform “Saving the Job Settings” on page 157.<br />

8. At the system controller, enter a starting document number where you<br />

want to start printing with page correlation.<br />

9. Resume printing the job.<br />
