Start Up Procedure Start Up Procedure Before printing a print job, the printheads need to be purged and a test page needs to be printed to make sure the print quality is good. The Start Up Procedure is necessary for these procedures. • Before a job is printed • After a paper roll is changed • Fixing a jet out • Recovering a missing module 1. Select PWC to move the printheads to the PWC position. 2. Select +Purge to purge/wipe the printheads. 3. Go to “Printing Test Pages” on page 174. 4. If the print quality is good, go to “Printing a Print Job” on page 174. 5. If the print quality is not good, do the necessary procedure before printing a print job. • Go to Troubleshooting to perform a “Recovery Jet Out Procedure”. • Go to Troubleshooting to “Recover a Missing Module”.
