Print Screen Status<br />

The system model indicates the status of all units in the printing system. If<br />

an error is present, selecting the unit activates another status screen.<br />

Tools Screen Status<br />

You may use another indicator of printing machinery status, which<br />

indicates whether the machinery is correctly connected to the controller.<br />

1. From Key Operator mode, select Tools Connections.<br />

The screen shows the status of all active network connections.<br />

2. Verify the following units are shown with a green status block.<br />

• System Controller<br />

• Data Controller<br />

• Tach and Cue<br />

• Print station interface<br />

• Fluid station 1<br />

• Fluid station 2 (dual tower only)<br />

• Transport<br />

• External tach and cue<br />

• CD132:1<br />

• CD132:2<br />

• CD132:3 (dual tower only)<br />

• CD132:4 (dual tower only)<br />

3. Contact <strong>Kodak</strong> Customer Service if any units are missing or have a<br />

red status block.<br />

Printing Problems<br />

In the case of general printing problems, refer to the printhead and print<br />

station documentation, this system Operator’s Guide, and online Help.<br />

Electrical Control Problems<br />

In the case of electrical problems with the print tower, contact <strong>Kodak</strong><br />

customer service.<br />

Paper-related Problems<br />

In case of paper related problems, check for the conditions that follow.<br />

• Paper is correctly webbed.<br />

• Machine components are properly aligned.<br />
