Setting Up the Job Queue<br />

Use these steps to set up the job queue and print spooling.<br />

1. Select Job Setup.<br />

2. In the Job spooling box, select Automatic.<br />

3. Select Apply.<br />

All the steps that follow are optional.<br />

4. To specify the disposition of job files after a job has been printed, use<br />

the lettered steps that follow.<br />

a. Select Job Setup.<br />

b. Select the Disposition tab.<br />

c. Select one of the options that follow.<br />

• Keep files - The files stay listed in the job queue after<br />

printing.<br />

• Hold files - The files stay available, but are held in the<br />

location specified in the Hold Folder box.<br />

• Delete files - Each file is deleted as the job completes<br />

printing, or as specified.<br />

d. For held files, identify where the files are held, and for how long.<br />

e. For held or deleted files, select the desired options that follow.<br />

• Hold/delete all files in job when end of job reached<br />

during printing.<br />

• Hold/delete all files in job when program exits - If you exit<br />

the controller software before a job finishes printing, the<br />

controller will hold/delete all of the files in the job (not only<br />

those that have been printed).<br />
