Setting Up the Job Queue
Use these steps to set up the job queue and print spooling.
1. Select Job Setup.
2. In the Job spooling box, select Automatic.
3. Select Apply.
All the steps that follow are optional.
4. To specify the disposition of job files after a job has been printed, use
the lettered steps that follow.
a. Select Job Setup.
b. Select the Disposition tab.
c. Select one of the options that follow.
• Keep files - The files stay listed in the job queue after
printing.
• Hold files - The files stay available, but are held in the
location specified in the Hold Folder box.
• Delete files - Each file is deleted as the job completes
printing, or as specified.
d. For held files, identify where the files are held, and for how long.
e. For held or deleted files, select the desired options that follow.
• Hold/delete all files in job when end of job reached
during printing.
• Hold/delete all files in job when program exits - If you exit
the controller software before a job finishes printing, the
controller will hold/delete all of the files in the job (not only
those that have been printed).
