System Setup of Optional Functions
The sections that follow describe optional CS300 controller functions.
Setting Up Printing
Setting up a process-color job or a job that prints spot or highlight color
from data supplied to a CS300 is a part of job setup. You will find the full
job setup process in “Setting Up a Print Job”. Setting up CS300 color jobs
can demand the skills of an experienced graphic arts operator, because
the CS300 lets you tune the printed color to a very fine degree. This
section guides use of the Job subsystem.
1. Select Forms.
2. Select a form from the options shown. If the desired form is not
shown, create a new form or change one of the existing forms. Use
the lettered steps that follow.
a. In the New Form dialog or Change Form dialog, enter a
descriptive name for the form.
b. Set the dimensions and the location for the top left corner of the
page.
c. In the Cut Sheet block, determine how the pages of the
document must be handled while they are being printed.
