Replacing the Waste Container
Replacing the Waste Container
Replacing the waste container is necessary for system operation.
Use these steps to replace a full waste container.
Caution: Failure to connect the external waste line to the print station can damage
the print station or cause an ink spill.
1. Select PSI printhead, the PWC Waste Tank field will show Full
- Replace Now when the waste container is full.
Note: Do not disconnect the waste supply lines, vent tube, or the electrical
connector (J5) from the waste container’s cap.
2. Disconnect the cap with the waste supply lines (4), vent tube, and the
electrical connector (J5) from the current waste container. The float
switch assembly is attached to the inner side of the cap and when the
cap is pulled up, the float switch will automatically be moved up and
out.
