Rewind unit air pressure controls
The rewind unit has one pressure regulator and an air switch located
behind the upper gear side cover. The unit comes supplied with an
internal air compressor, and can be connected to facility supplied air
pressure if needed. The inlet pressure regulator should be set to
approximately 0.65 KPa (94 PSI).

S-wrap bar and guides
The rewind unit uses an S-wrap bar to set substrate tension. The
substrate is webbed through the bar. If the rewind roll has signs of
cupping or dishing, the S-wrap bar should be rotated to increase or
decrease tension on the running web. There are two locking rings (one at
each end) that are used to rotate the S-wrap bar to decrease tension. In
addition, the guides should be positioned so they guide the running web
and keep it in the correct position.
