Deleting a Message Use the steps that follow to delete a message.<br />

1. Select the message (such as Message 1).<br />

2. Select the Remove Message button at the right edge of the tab.<br />

Overriding the Default Settings for a Single MPC Job<br />

You can override the default settings for a single MPC job in the job’s<br />

MPC tab in the Job Queue screen. To display the Job Queue screen,<br />

select Job Queue. Then, to display a job’s MPC tab, select the<br />

numbered button (as shown at left) for any MPC job in the queue; this<br />

displays the setup tabs for that job. Then select the MPC tab, as shown in<br />

the following figure.<br />

Note: The settings in this tab apply only to the selected job, and they override<br />

the default settings in the Job Setup screen's MPC tab.<br />

Three major groups of MPC job setup information, discussed below, are<br />

available in this screen.<br />

• Summary<br />

• Printers<br />

• Messages<br />

Summary<br />

When Summary is selected in the column at the left edge of the tab, the<br />

information and controls are displayed as shown in and as follows.<br />

• ➀ Automatic setup data - The scrollable automatic setup data from<br />

the MPC job file is displayed.<br />

• ➁ Use Automatic Setup button - Select this button to use the<br />

automatic setup data from the MPC job file.<br />

• ➂ Use Manual Setup button - Select this button to use manual setup<br />

data, described below in the “Printers” and “Messages” sections.<br />

• ➃ Copy Automatic Setup To Manual Setup button - This button has a<br />

number of possible uses. For example, select this button if you make<br />
