MSc Banking•
Our MSc Banking will enable you to
broaden and deepen your knowledge of
advanced concepts in banking. We focus
on the role of modern banking institutions
in an increasingly competitive and global
marketplace and cover topical issues such
as: bank strategies and risks in a changing
environment, financial innovation,
internationalisation, banking crises
and regulation.
MSc Banking and Finance•
This course allows you to follow an
advanced and up-to-date programme of
study in banking and finance. You develop
a broad vision and understanding of the
changing role and nature of modern
banking firms within the context of an
increasingly market-oriented and risk
operating environment, the impact of
technology, financial innovation, regulation
and the internationalisation process.
MSc Finance•†
This course provides opportunities for
you to enhance your knowledge and
understanding of finance beyond your first
degree level and to develop your abilities to
read and understand the journals and
current literature.
MSc Finance will develop your analytical
and critical thinking skills, and provide
research training. You design and carry out
independent studies and, as a graduate, are
well prepared for employment as a finance
specialist in industry, government,
universities or research institutions.

This course equips you with the theoretical
knowledge, quantitative tools and analytical
skills that allow you to thrive in the worlds of
practical and academic finance. You embark

We have designed MSc Finance and

cultural conditions.
MSc Financial Engineering and
Risk Management•
This course will interest you if you want to
follow advanced, contemporary study in
financial engineering and risk management.
In the wake of the financial crisis, a deeper
understanding of the risks within modern
financial securities, and the design of
adequate and robust risk management
systems to measure and manage these
risks, is essential.
The content and structure of our course
is ideally suited if you wish to work in
commercial, investment and central banks,
hedge funds, regulatory authorities, credit
rating agencies and other similar
organisations.
MSc International Finance•
This course develops a broad vision and
understanding of the changing role and
nature of international finance within the
context of globalised markets, the
increasingly widespread impact of
information technology and the move
toward large international trading blocks,
such as the EU.
As a graduate, you will be ideally positioned
to take up a position in investment
management, corporate finance, trading
or consulting.
Entrepreneurship and
innovation courses
MSc Creative Industry Management•‡
Our course explores innovative leadership
among managers of entrepreneurial
organisations in the creative industries
of performing and visual arts, new digital
media, and design. We address creativity
and leadership issues, techniques, policy
development and their applications
in the public sector, manufacturing and
service industries.
You also explore creative business
management opportunities and respond
to recognition, at an international level,
of the economic importance of the
creative industries. We focus on the
generation of leadership capabilities
among managers and the need to
develop creative management styles,
skills, inter-organisational relationships
and multi-disciplinary methods with
which to manage complex, organisational
environments.
MSc Entrepreneurship and Innovation•‡
This course addresses critical issues
that are central to economic growth and
social transformation. These are issues
which are high on the agendas of business,
governments, policy-makers, researchers,
educators and wider communities of
interest across the world, as the study
of them has emerged as critical to our
understanding of economic and
social change.
MSc Entrepreneurship and Innovation
enables you to acquire the essential
knowledge, vital contemporary skills
and competencies, and critical awareness
