André Vanden Camp
André Vanden Camp has occupied various positions
in ministries before he became IT Director of the
“Beurs van Brussel” (Nyse Euronext). In 1991 he
joined CIK (later Euroclear Bank) as Organization and
IT Director before being appointed General Director in
1995.
He started to work for BBL (ING) in 1999 as Director
of the “Global Securities Services” programme. Later
on he was appointed Director of the Organization and
IT department. He became CIO (Chief Information
Officer) of ING South West Europe in 2001 and COO
(Chief Operating Officer) Wholesale Banking of ING
Group in 2005. From January 1st 2005 until May 31st
2008, he was Managing Director of ING Belgium.
From the summer 2008 till November 2009, André
Vanden Camp worked as an independent
management, strategy and IT consultant.
André Vanden Camp was appointed Chief Operating
Officer (COO) and Member of the Executive
Committee of Dexia Group on December 1st 2009.
