In 8th grade social studies I found myself rather bored with history. In part this was due
to my teacher, who was nothing more than a senile windbag imparting more hunting
anecdotes than thought provoking lessons. I began to question why such incompetence
was legally employed at the expense of my education. I asked the principal and he
introduced me to the concept of "tenure." I responded by refusing to do anything in that
class besides reading old National Geographic magazines – and thus my self-education
began.
With most of the high school classes I was forced to attend, I had to question the value of
memorizing seemingly generic knowledge and useless trivia for no other reason than to
get to the next grade, and I did. "Mr. Krauss, why do we have to learn social studies?" He
replied, "So as to not repeat the mistakes of the past." That was the most reasonable,
logical thing the man ever said to me. To this day I can only conclude that EVERY world
leader presently in power miserably failed social studies.
In 10th Grade social studies I was given the assignment of conceiving my very own
utopia, as if utopia was and is the ultimate goal of human social evolution, and I believe it
is. A high school student of 17 years in 1992 has a relatively limited knowledge of all the
factors contributing to his current, less-than-utopian existence. I think Mr. Poulsen knew
this but he was very wise to give the assignment, as it was and is thought provoking –so
provoking in fact, it is 2004 and the assignment isn’t finished.
Transparency is security, lies and secrets are not.
To completely do away with or overhaul the Constitution is not necessarily wrong;
amendments are an incremental kind of reformation for better or worse. Back in the day
democracy was best expressed with three branches, representatives and parties. Today the
corruption has found a way past those checks and balances. We call it "lobbyist," and the
addition of the 4th and 5th branches – (4th) Mass Media and (5th) Exo/Para Political
Affairs aka Global Elite, Shadow Government.
Mass Media as the Arbiters of Consensus Reality have the function of producing what I
call The Government Show, the decoy nightmare with its pseudo dichotomies. The 5th
branch may be regarded as new age fodder and conspiracy theory, but that's probably
what the 4th branch wants for the consensus. These branches are the outer and inner
