tipping point. We made the right choice, and the rest is history.
I reached up and ran my fingers through Lee’s hair. “Tomorrow is the annual show in
San Francisco. The house is headed that way so that we can have a good vantage for
what the Fireworks Boys have in store for us tomorrow night.” The Fireworks Boys was
one of the best fireworks enthusiast groups around, though they included “girls” too.
“Great,” Lee responded. “It’s been a while since I’ve seen fireworks – at least four
months!”
I called to the house, asking for a meal of fresh, small Brussels sprouts, lasagna with
Portabella mushrooms, crusty, buttery garlic bread, and a freshly baked raspberry tart
with lots of whipped cream for dessert. I suggested to Lee that we head to the dining area
for our dinner, and after a quick query about the menu – which he approved of – we
headed that way.
